What TextDiff does not do
TextDiff does not upload your text, create an account, call an AI service, save comparison history, or put text into URLs, cookies, LocalStorage or IndexedDB. Refreshing or closing the tab clears the working text.
Local files and reports
Files are opened with your browser’s local File API and are never uploaded. Exported reports contain the text you chose to compare, so store and share those files appropriately.
Diagnostics
The app has no text analytics. Comparison contents, filenames, search terms and excerpts are not sent to analytics or error reporting.
